   Short comment concerning Sharia–there is much available on the internet that explains the nature of Sharia Law, and the ramifications concerning the people of Islam, whether considered “moderate” and simply quiet, or extremist and, simply quiet. It is a religious law. It goes beyond Roman Catholic “requirements of the Church”, into secular political control of religious adherents. And, in America it is Unconstitutional to have any separate political “territories” except as approved by the federal government, i.e. Native American territorial reservations.

   If you hear of any group attempting to implement in your community, or near your community in America–report it to the FBI online. It is a serious matter, and we see the effects today in the UK and Europe, because the political officials being “politically correct” about “all peoples beliefs”, allowed “Sharia Law” to be implemented. Read Robert Spencer’s web site, Jihad Watch–pops right up on the search engines, and learn more. He’s considered the foremost public expert on what he references “Islam-ic” vs. “Islamist”, the latter religion, being perverted, distorted by the former political, violent “jihadists” intent on taking over the world, by their own declarations. It is true that some sincere Islamists are unaware of the greater truths, just as so many “religionists” in all religions are unaware of the right to independent thought and free action such as our Bill of Rights protects for the individual–we must give room for the respect of “Islamists” insofar as their specific actions do not define them as “Islam-ics”, Islamics. “Break the law, and the judicial system may kick in.” It is known–some Islamists do not LIKE what’s going on from the extremists “perverting” their religion’s intent on “Jihad”, that they define as an “inner jihad” established by the individual spiritually evolving from “within” themselves.

2. Islamic leaders all across the globe must join to
   Until I see the religious leaders of Islam join together in a public denunciation of the parts of their religion which create violence and murder I will consider Islam a religion of hatred and fear it. They must publicly declare to their fellow Muslims all over the world that Apostasy no longer exists with the religion. That if a Muslim chooses by his own free will to leave the faith for whatever reason, they have the right to do so. I demand to hear that the words: Fatwa, Jihad and Infidel be stricken from the religion as well. I demand that the concept of stoning any human being will be outlawed, as well as beheading. I need to hear that Islam will no longer be a vessel of death and that nobody will have the right to murder in the name of this religion ever again, for whatever reason as it will be a religion of peace, and not a judging government. I need to see women given full civil rights and not be forced to be mutilated by female circumcision nor be forced to cover any part of her body except the top of her head if she so chooses. Than, and only then will I be willing to accept this as a peaceful religion not to be feared. Until then, I will continue to abhor and fear it.

3. Sharia law is not compatible with any known principle of modern life. It is the remnant of a long-past, long-forgotten oppressive regime. It flies in the face of everything that modern, reasonable human beings hold dear. To have people…any people…in the world today saying that this is the rules that people should live by only points up the power of religious brain-washing. It is an abomination.

   Imam Feisal Abdel Rauf claims that the U.S. Constitution is Sharia compliant. Now let us examine below a few laws of Sharia to see if Imam Rauf is truthful or a fraud:

   1 – Jihad defined as “to war against non-Muslims to establish the religion” is the duty of every Muslim and Muslim head of state (Caliph). Muslim Caliphs who refuse jihad are in violation of Sharia and unfit to rule.

   2 – A Caliph can hold office through seizure of power meaning through force.

   3 – A Caliph is exempt from being charged with serious crimes such as murder, adultery, robbery, theft, drinking and in some cases of rape.

   4 – A percentage of Zakat (alms) must go towards jihad.

   5 – It is obligatory to obey the commands of the Caliph, even if he is unjust.

   6 – A caliph must be a Muslim, a non-slave and a male.

   7 – The Muslim public must remove the Caliph in one case, if he rejects Islam.

   8 – A Muslim who leaves Islam must be killed immediately.

   9 – A Muslim will be forgiven for murder of: 1) an apostasy 2) an adulterer 3) a highway robber. Making vigilante street justice and honor killing acceptable.

   10 – A Muslim will not get the death penalty if he kills a non-Muslim.

   11- Sharia never abolished slavery and sexual slavery and highly regulates it. A master will not be punished for killing his slave.

   12 – Sharia dictates death by stoning, beheading, amputation of limbs, flogging and other forms of cruel and unusual punishments even for crimes of sin such as adultery.

   13 – Non-Muslims are not equal to Muslims and must comply to Sharia if they are to remain safe. They are forbidden to marry Muslim women, publicly display wine or pork, recite their scriptures or openly celebrate their religious holidays or funerals. They are forbidden from building new churches or building them higher than mosques. They may not enter a mosque without permission. A non-Muslim is no longer protected if he commits adultery with a Muslim woman or if he leads a Muslim away from Islam.

   14 – It is a crime for a non-Muslim to sell weapons to someone who will use them against Muslims. Non-Muslims cannot curse a Muslim, say anything derogatory about Allah, the Prophet, or Islam, or expose the weak points of Muslims. However, the opposite is not true for Muslims.

   15 – A non-Muslim cannot inherit from a Muslim.

   16 – Banks must be Sharia compliant and interest is not allowed.

   17 – No testimony in court is acceptable from people of low-level jobs, such as street sweepers or a bathhouse attendant. Women in such low-level jobs such as professional funeral mourners cannot keep custody of their children in case of divorce.

   18 – A non-Muslim cannot rule even over a non-Muslims minority.

   19 – Homosexuality is punishable by death.

   20 – There is no age limit for marriage of girls under Sharia. The marriage contract can take place any time after birth and consummated at age 8 or 9.

   21 – Rebelliousness on the part of the wife nullifies the husband’s obligation to support her, gives him permission to beat her and keep her from leaving the home.

   22 – Divorce is only in the hands of the husband and is as easy as saying: “I divorce you” and becomes effective even if the husband did not intend it.

   23 – There is no community property between husband and wife and the husband’s property does not automatically go to the wife after his death.

   24 – A woman inherits half what a man inherits.

   25- A man has the right to have up to 4 wives and she has no right to divorce him even if he is polygamous.

   26- The dowry is given in exchange for the woman’s sexual organs.

   27 – A man is allowed to have sex with slave women and women captured in battle, and if the enslaved woman is married her marriage is annulled.

   28 – The testimony of a woman in court is half the value of a man.

   29- A woman loses custody if she remarries.

   30- To prove rape, a woman must have 4 male witnesses.

   31 – A rapist may only be required to pay the bride-money (dowry) without marrying the rape victim.

   32 – A Muslim woman must cover every inch of her body which is considered “Awrah,” a sexual organ. Some schools of Sharia allow the face and some don’t.

   33 – A Muslim man is forgiven if he kills his wife caught in the act of adultery. However, the opposite is not true for women since he “could be married to the woman he was caught with.”

   The above are clear-cut laws in Islam decided by great Imams after years of examination and interpretation of the Quran, Hadith and Mohammed’s life. Now let the learned Imam Rauf tell us what part of the above is compliant with the US constitution?

   Concept of Taquiyya: A Muslim may lie or deceive others to advance the cause of Islam.

5. Sharia incompatible with Islam along with sunnah a
   It should be known that actually sharia law is incompatible with Islam. A fact seemingly not known by many Muslims. According to Muslims the Koran is the unchained word of god written not long after mohammeds death. A common criticism of Christianity from Muslims is that the text was changed as it was written hundreds of years after the death of Christ, however the same can be said of sharia law. Much is sharia law is based on hadiths (expressions of Mohammed outside the Koranic message). Many of these hadiths are unreliable coming from so and so who was told by so and so who was told by so and so etc etc etc. The most famous Hadith deemed unreliable by Muslims themselves is the satanic verses where Mohammed implied he was corrupted by Satan into saying things he didn’t mean. In analyzing sharia law it’s clear it’s in contrast to teachings from the Koran, eg. Death for apostasy – the Koran forbids killing and states there is no compulsion in religion. Also the Koran does not forbid a Muslim woman from marrying a non-Muslim, it only gives explicit permission for a muslim man to marry women from people of the book ie. Jew and Christian. But it should be remembered that Arabian society was and is very patriarchal and Mohammed gave his sermons mainly to men so this could be the reason why women were not explicitly given permission to marry non-Muslims. Going back to hadiths, there is actually one Hadith where Mohammed instructs his messengers not to record anything he says outside the Koranic message but amazingly they did and even recorded him saying that! Another aspect of Islam that is wrong is the elevation of mahammed. You often hear of middle-aged men marrying minors who point to the example of Mohammed for justifying their paedophelia! However, unlike Christianity, Mohammed was not the son of god or free from sin. He was a normal man and even in the Koran it mentions his sins past and future. In conclusion sharia is unislamic as is following examples of a mortal sinning man like Mohammed like they do with sunnah. The idea of using hadiths too is blasphemy according to Islam because it would be like saying the word of god is insufficient and one needs man made intervention too. There is a movement in Islam who follow only the Koran and reject sunnah and hadiths and as sub reject completely sharia, they are aptly name koranists. Islam is a religion of peace but has been corrupted by the greed and perversion of evil men. I believe that with reform, Muslims can be brought back into he fold and reintegrated with the rest of society.

      1. Most people don’t know that sharia is contradictory to the Quran/Koran because that claim is false. If you watched all the many videos above or even read the Quranic verses used to justify pretty much all of sharia law, supplemented with the hadiths – most of which are sahih or authorized – you would know that Islamic law or sharia assuredly is not contradictory to the Koran.

         About 2/3rds of Muslims are illiterate, and many do not seem to know what is in the Koran, the hadiths and sunnah. They deny what is justifiable via the Koran because of this illiteracy and ignorance. These claims would be risible to the Islamic scholars who are in the videos and who have been quoted for many centuries as justifying violent jihad and the other elements of sharia.

6. Sharia Law
   Of course Sharia Law is not compatible in the US because in US there are many adulterous, same sex-marriage are allowed, drugs are abundant, many people are drunkard, lots of gambling institution. So, what else you can ask for in the US, all easy going people who likes happiness, fun, sex, drugs, gambling, should not go to Islamic country because you will all be bored and shocked. I am a Muslim and I love the teachings of Islam. It is very hard to become a Muslim, but if you have faith and you love Almighty God it will be very easy for you to pray 5 times a day, avoid sex outside marriage, avoid gambling, avoid drinking alcohol, and as long as you are not doing anything wrong there is no problem, you don’t have to fear anything.
