New Saudi law defines atheism as terrorism against the state

John Kerry meets with King AbdullahWhile many nonbelievers are constantly stumping for Islam, HERE is what devout Muslims feel about them in return. You might want rethink enabling this mentality to spread.

We won’t say we told you so, but…

Saudi Arabia: New Law Sees Atheism As Terrorism

Saudi Arabia has passed a new terrorism law which will treat non-believers and political dissidents as enemies of the state.

Critics say the new legislation – which uses a broad definition of “terrorism” to include any act intended to insult the reputation of the state, harm public order or destabilise the security of society – is a threat to freedom of speech and thought in the kingdom.

According to Joe Stork, deputy Middle East and North Africa director at Human Rights Watch (HRW): “Saudi authorities have never tolerated criticism of their policies, but these recent laws and regulations turn almost any critical expression or independent association into crimes of terrorism”.

The new law considers a terrorist anyone who:

Calls for atheist thought in any form, or calling into question the fundamentals of the Islamic religion on which this country is based;

Anyone who disregards their loyalty to the country’s rulers;

Anyone who aids [terrorist] organisations, groups, currents [of thought], associations, or parties, or demonstrates affiliation with them, or sympathy with them, or promotes them, or holds meetings under their umbrella, either inside or outside the kingdom;

Those who seek to shake the social fabric or national cohesion, or anyone who harms the unity or stability of the kingdom by any means;

Attends conferences, seminars, or meetings inside or outside [the kingdom] targeting the security of society, or sowing discord in society;

Incites or make countries, committees, or international organisations antagonistic to the kingdom.

    1. As I say, such defense by atheists or other nonbelievers in Islam happens constantly, including on this very blog. Just yesterday, I got into a debate with an atheist on Twitter who was attacking my ex-Muslim friend Ali Sina for criticizing Islam. He called Ali various names, including “fascist.”

      Here is one exchange: https://twitter.com/AliSina_FFI/status/451144923207565312

      Richard Dawkins is attacked for speaking the truth about Islam, by his own followers. Same thing about Sam Harris – many people are aware of this fact. The situation is so bad, in reality, that ex-Muslims like Maryam Namazie had to write the following plea:

      Siding with the Oppressor: The Pro-Islamist Left

      Here’s the story of a “liberal lefty” who used to stump for Islam exactly as stated and as is happening all over the place but who realized what he was engaged in:

      Murfreesboro Mosque: Eric Allen Bell, Filmmaker Who Supported Mosque, Has Joined Anti-Islam Movement

      Bell could tell you all about those compadres of his who supported the mosque. If I understand correctly, he was sent by Michael Moore to document what horrible rednecks the mosque opponents were, but when he finally learned about Islamic doctrine, he joined the anti-jihadists. Here are a couple of the “leftist” supporters:

      There are many more such tales of leftists defending Islam. All one needs to do is to go to a forum such as Sam Harris’s or Freedom From Religion Foundation and speak frankly about Islamic doctrines, and one will understand immediately.

    2. I can tell you first hand that there are non believers stumping for islam. I am an Atheist & have had people in the FFRF(Freedom From Religion Community)actually curse at me for posting about islam. A gang of them would always comment negativly for doing so because it was not about christian issues. It got so bad I had to block them. However, I had one person come to my defense in that community and I still continue to post there.

      The other day AS Posted about how a young woman who had been physically attacked at a University in Egypt by muslim men while walking on the campus. I left several comments with a number of links that provided the proof of the muslim rape epidemic of females in Europe, whereby, this young lady had left a reply saying that muslim men did not rape females. She actually said that. That is how clueless she was. Grant it, her FB page showed her education status to be in high school.

      These examples I have given you only shows that AS is right when she says that non believers are stumping for islam. They do it by defending it,as well as in denying the evidence of islamophile bad behavior along with it’s perverted belief system.

    3. Find out for yourself. Read the comments on any article on Islam on MSN and or Yahoo any day. Many start out … “I’m an atheist, but … blah, blah, blah”.

      1. I just saw one yesterday on the FB page of “Stop the Mosque” in Bendigo, Australia. A guy trying to abuse the page owners began with “Atheist here,” and then accused them of fraud and said that nobody should oppose any mosques.

        My response was as follows – it received six thumbs up, while the page owner deleted the atheist guy’s comment:

        Nonbeliever here. You’d better battle against mosquetrocities at every opportunity, or you will surely lose the war against Islamization.

        “The minarets are our bayonets, the domes our helmets, the mosques our barracks and the faithful our army.” Poem recited by Turkey’s prime minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan

        A significant percentage of mosques in the U.S. are funded by the filthy rich, oilmongering SAUDIS to spread Wahhabism, which teaches the inferiority of women and infidels, as well as hatred against homosexuals, atheists and so on.

        In fact, the Saudis just passed a law making atheism equivalent to terrorism against the state. Nobody should be stumping for the Saudis, Iranians and other rich Muslim groups to be building mosques anywhere.

        These fundamentalist mosques will be used to oppress “moderate” Muslims as well, including those who want to leave Islam – apostasy punishable by death. Our Western refuges will fail to exist anymore if we allow these particular mosques to flourish in our midst.

        Note that another dhimmi nonbeliever commented:

        Leslie Matthews: “Is this the page where bigots gather?”

        Typical insulting rubbish. Fortunately this fool – who got four thumbs up – was shouted down by others saying:

        Peter Edhouse: “No – This is the page where those who are Wised up to islam and Freedom congregate!”

        10 thumbs up.

  1. Many non-believers in Christianity and or Judaism, that is. Apparently, many “atheists” believe in Allah and Mohammed, however, and suck up to Islam. Richard Dawkins’ site is rife with such. Jerry Coyne’s site is sometimes rife with same. There are also sites on Youtube with “atheist” apologists for Islam. Personally, I don’t think they’re atheists as much as they’re simply agenda-driven, clueless liberals who are soaked with racial angst. In fact, by definition, many of these so called non believers simply cannot be atheists, due to their defense of Islam. But, it’s easy and fashionable to hate Christians and Jews; thus, such is an outlet for cowards. It takes intestinal fortitude to criticize Islam, however.

    1. Your assessment seems accurate enough. These “libtards” have a kneejerk reaction to anyone criticizing Islam that is akin to a neurosis. While they think they are defending “poor, little brown people” against the “big, bad white Christians,” they fail to recognize that: 1. Islam is an ideology and has nothing to do with skin color, such that there are also white Muslims; and 2. Islam is a right-wing conservative ideology similar to Christianity but “on steroids,” which makes it far worse than Christianity at this point in history.

      In either case, the defense of Islam by liberal nonbelievers is foolish, irrational, illogical, myopic and ignorant to the nth degree.

  2. And Sauds/Islam are/is a terror on humanity and the Earth, but who’s counting, huh?
