"Demolish Them" by Vlasis Rassias, published in Greek,
Athens 2000 (2nd edition), Anichti Poli Editions, ISBN: 960-7748-20-4.

Christian Persecutions against the Hellenes

The forum in Greek - can be converted to English:
http://forum.ysee.gr/index.php?lang=en

"In the summarization of Vlasis Rassias' book Demolish Them is found a true account of the first few centuries of the Christian era and the effect of that particular outgrowth of the Abrahamic traditions on our world. The toll in death, suffering, and the attack on Classical Civilization was immense. That the death-cult, borne by wearers of black cassocks, brought about [the] Dark Ages is incontrovertible. The religion masked in "love and light" should be held out for all to see its brutal, barbaric beginnings. As we follow the plans of Christian Zionists in PNAC, the Bush Administration's guiding council (Program for a New American Century), it is clear that little has changed." - from here

Quote:
Pagan Destruction Chronology (314-988 C.E.)

314
Immediately after its full legalisation, the Christian Church attacks the Gentiles: The Council of Ancyra denounces the worship of Goddess Artemis.

Non-christians are called "loathsome, heretics, stupid and blind". In another edict Theodosius calls "insane" those that do not believe in the christian god and outlaws all disagreements with the Church dogmas. Quote:
The burning of unbelievers during the Inquisition was based on the words of Jesus:

John 15:6 "If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned."

- From a former Preacher of 20 years: "Why Jesus?"

Burnings are described several times in the Bible, including Acts 19:19, 1 Maccabees 1:56 and Jeremiah 36:27

Maybe this would make a great video?

Slightly off-topic here but not completely - the above time line shows how paganism was wiped out leaving "Christmas" type celebrations open for a slightly new theme or savior. I've been enjoying some of the comments at the youtube video with Acharya's response:

Quote:
"For all you imbeciles who keep saying "Jesus wasn't born on December 25th," why don't you take your campaign to all the CHURCHES and businesses all over the world that celebrate Jesus's birthday on December 25th, instead of posting your feeble nonsense here?

Go ahead - tell all the Christian churches that JESUS ISN'T THE REASON FOR THE SEASON. That's the whole point, you fools! Thanks for doing our work for us! Get your Christ out of our solstice already."

Quote:
"We should make a "Is Jesus the reason 4 the season? challenge." Come Xmas, everywhere you see the sign, ask them to PROVE IT! This is a loosing argument for them.

Thing is, they got J's birthday wrong, what else have they got wrong?

One may find plenty of videos implying Jesus' birth at Xmas.

"Christmas" gets you nearly 400,000 videos, "Jesus - The Reason for the Season" you will find 2,850 videos just here at youtube.

How many Xians acknowledge that Xmas isn't really Jesus' birthday? *NONE* !!! Most just accept without question that it's Jesus' BD.

It's an asinine, indefensible position. As Earl Doherty said, "I suppose when straws are all you have to grasp at, they have to do""

I love this:

Get your Christ out of our winter solstice!

Oops! I put up a video yesterday (with credit)...maybe I can get away with it.

I find it strange that Christians were 'crucifying' pagans 350 CE 400 CE etc.. Wasn't crucification - death by cross motif - special for them?

And why choose Dec 25 to celebrate Jesus' birthday? Isn't this the date heathen, pagan, devil-worshipers celebrated for the birth of their deity? Imagine choosing the Devil's birthday as Christ's...seems unthinkable.

You created another video about the Pagan Destruction Chronology? Man, share the link, I got to see it.

Oh, I found it... here it is -

Gimme that ol' time religion...

Well done - thanks for doing that!!!

On Dec 25th, you're right. They had 364 other days they could've selected yet, they still ended up on the well known birth date of the sun god.

I hear theists and atheists trying to argue that there's no record of a resurrecting god before 150CE. First of all, this is bogus. It's not accurate and "Christ in Egypt" will destroy that argument.

Second, then what are we to make of Justin Martyr's First Apology:

Quote:
Justin Martyr, The First Apology, XXI (around 150 ce):

"And when we say also that the Word, who is the first-birth of God, was produced without sexual union, and that He, Jesus Christ, our Teacher, was crucified and died, and rose again, and ascended into heaven, we propound nothing different from what you believe regarding those whom you esteem sons of Jupiter. For you know how many sons your esteemed writers ascribed to Jupiter: Mercury, the interpreting word and teacher of all; Æsculapius, who, though he was a great physician, was struck by a thunderbolt, and so ascended to heaven; and Bacchus too, after he had been torn limb from limb; and Hercules, when he had committed himself to the flames to escape his toils; and the sons of Leda, and Dioscuri; and Perseus, son of Danae; and Bellerophon, who, though sprung from mortals, rose to heaven on the horse Pegasus. For what shall I say of Ariadne, and those who, like her, have been declared to be set among the stars? And what of the emperors who die among yourselves, whom you deem worthy of deification, and in whose behalf you produce some one who swears he has seen the burning Cæsar rise to heaven from the funeral pyre?"

Whoops! That puts a dampener on the argument when he fully admits most of the comparisons all Prior to Jesus! And, Justin never once even attempted to argue that they stole the concepts from Christians. He didn't because he knew he couldn't get away with it. Instead he got creative with "the Devil got there first" pathetic response.

As I was watching the video I was envisioning re-enactment scenes going on that match up to the commentary as it's running through. Something really graphic like the Passion of the Christ.

Watching the pagan peoples heads being cut off, watching the pagan peoples being burned at the stake, watching the library of Alexandria being set on fire etc.

So much hatred, prejudice, and violence. Not to mention forced belief under duress. Guess that was the 1000 years of darkness. You know that one pagan priest who killed himself? I think I would too if I knew what was to come. Who wants to experience the torture and eventually being murder under the Inquisition? I'm sure he was not blind to it and probably knew people were losing out on the truth due to Rome.

This appalling destruction of the Pagan culture is precisely what provoked me to write The Christ Conspiracy.

As I watch the video Vega made, I keep seeing how this precise thing is happening right now with Islam sweeping over the world. It will only be a question of time when the non-Muslim leaders start capitulating left and right to the same hideous destruction of culture in this video.

You know what saddens me most? My mother and her sister support McSame and Patin, because they are Xians who walk the walk and talk the talk. They are in my relatives' judgement, true Xians and neither can believe this country was actually started as a secular nation and not as a Xian nation. They truly believe the U.S. has gone downhill due to lack of Xian theology and we must go back to Xian practices. My relatives don't realize they are Dominionists and were shocked when I defined them as such. They don't even know the meaning of the word. All they know is what their preacher tells them via yelling and shouting and other overly emotional behaviour that really does a number one's neurochemistry. Too bad the fight/flight desire that makes them want to run from such preachers isn't within them. Oh wait! To do that means Satan is working on them. They can't do that. (Built in precaution to keep them from running from the brainwashing) Guess I should rephrase that and say, "Too bad they can't say F your Satan and God" and then run.

I really hope that we don't get shafted with another right wing term. I suppose it's all up to whatever the secret societies feel like doing this time around.

If anyone is out there listening, "Come on guys / Freemasons, change things up a bit. Put in a left wing player this go around."

Here's another site with similar appalling data:

CHRISTIAN TERROR: EVENTS THAT TESTIFY TO GOD'S DIVINE GLORY

Ancient Pagans

As soon as Christianity became legal in 315EV, increasing numbers of pagan temples were destroyed by mobs and its priests murdered. Examples of destroyed Temples include the Sanctuary of Asklepios in the Aegean, the Temple of Aphrodite in Golgotha, Aphaka in Lebanon and Heliopolis. Christian priests such as Mark of Arethusa or Cyril of Heliopolis were famous as "temple destroyers." [DA468]

Between 315 and 6th century, thousands of pagan believers were slain.

In the early fourth century the philosopher Sopatros was executed by command of Christian authorities. [DA466]

Pagan services became punishable by death in 356. [DA468]

In 415, the famous female philosopher Hypatia of Alexandria was torn to pieces with glass fragments, in a church by an hysterical Christian mob led by a priest called Peter. [DO19-25]

Christian Emperor Theodosius (408-450) even had children executed, because they had been playing with remains of pagan statues. [DA469]

Missions

Charlemagne in 782 had 4,500 Saxons, unwilling to convert to Christianity, beheaded. [DO30]

On May of 1234, between 5,000 and 11,000 men, women and children were slain in Steding, Germany because they were unwilling to pay suffocating church taxes. [WW223]

Battle of Belgrade in 1456: 80,000 Moslems slaughtered. [DO235]

15th century Poland: 1,019 churches and 17,987 villages plundered by Knights of the Order. [DO30]

16th and 17th century Ireland: English troops "pacified and civilised" Ireland, where only "Wild Irish… unreasonable beasts lived without any knowledge of God or good manners, in common of their goods, cattle, women, children and every other thing." One of the more successful soldiers, a certain Humphrey Gilbert, half-brother of Sir Walter Raleigh, ordered that: "The heddes of all those (of what sort so ever they were) which were killed in the daie, should be cutte off from their bodies... and should bee laied on the ground by eche side of the waie" (sic). The effort to civilise the Irish indeed caused "… greate terrour to the people when theiy sawe the heddes of their dedde fathers, brothers, children, kinsfolke, and freinds on the grounde". Tens of thousands of Gaelic Irish fell as victims of this carnage. [SH99, 225]

Can't say it's much better in the Midwest.
